Our
Story
After a 20+ year career, our founder, Katie Cavuto, felt a deep calling to transition her career to doula care so she could be in home, supporting families, individuals and children in a more comprehensive way; living their day-to-day, assessing their needs and providing them the kind and compassionate care that is the foundation of Honoring You.

She quickly realized that both in-home care and doula care is not affordable for most people and that caregivers are not often not paid a sustainable wage.
​
She wanted all of this to change.
​
So, she gathered a few friends and colleagues, and Honoring You was born with a mission to provide free and affordable care to the Greater Philadelphia region and to support our caregivers, as well as all of our employees, fairly and lovingly.
We are also deeply passionate about broadening doula care beyond pregnancy and postpartum periods to provide non-medical, loving, holistic care to everyone in need, throughout the lifespan.

Honoring You was founded in early 2025 and what a year it has been!
We're at the beginning of what we hope to be a long and incredible journey. A journey that is as meant for everyone, because it's a journey towards building a beautiful, kind and loving community that emphasizes interpersonal connections and caring for one another deeply.

And while we are in our inaugural year, there is already a great deal of care we have been able to provide from pregnancy all the way through end-of-life, through the Sliding Scale Program we created for you . We've had and will continue to plan community supportive fundraising events and In-person Free Classes and Supports will be offered through our community partners soon! We look forward to launch our Referral Based Free Support Packages too and are grateful we have already had the chance to offer a few.

Our services are available to all families, individuals and children in need or loving care.
Honoring You provides affordable, in-home care rates through our Sliding Scale Program that is supported by generous donations.

We offer Free Educational Classes and Support Groups too.
Our goal is to expand our services, offering Professionally Referred Free Support Packages and free educational support groups and classes by the end of the year!​​​​​​
