Erica Chen

Board of Directors

Erica Chen is a speaker, coach, and community builder who’s passionate about helping families. She’s the founder of Unicorn Dynasty, a space created for first- to third-generation women navigating the intersections of motherhood, identity, and ambition. Through honest conversations and meaningful connection, whether it’s in community spaces, leadership, or systems, her focus is always the same: create real, positive change.

Erica has over 15 years of experience building communities, including 8 years leading We Work and service on the board of the Reading Terminal Market Preservation Fund. Erica brings both structure and soul to her work. Her approach blends strategy with empathy, and she leads from the belief that acknowledging your own needs is the first step toward creating spaces where others can feel seen, supported, and valued.

Erica believes in the mission of Honoring You because she has seen firsthand the lack of support families receive during the most tender moments of birth, loss, and everything in between. The kind of care this organization offers fills a deep gap, reminding us that in the end, it’s love that carries us through.
