Our
Mission
After a 20+ year career, our founder, Katie Cavuto, felt a deep calling to create "Honoring You", an organization supporting families, individuals and children in-home in a more comprehensive way; living their day-to-day, assessing their needs and providing them the kind and compassionate care that is lacking today.
Necessary in-home care and doula care are not affordable for most people and caregivers, an integral part of our communities, are not paid a sustainable wage.
She wanted all of this to change.
Our Mission Statement
Honoring You provides free and affordable, kind, loving and compassionate care throughout the lifespan to improve physical and mental health outcomes. We offer doula care during pregnancy and postpartum periods, childhood, bereavement and loss, companion/respite care and end of life/hospice care, filling gaps in the current in-home care systems. Our goal is to help those who are underserved in Federal, State and local assistance programs. Our Free Community Education Classes and Support Groups provide an extension of our care services and education to the greater community.
